We’re hiring an Experienced Civil or Structural Designer/Drafter to join a leading engineering consultancy with a strong presence in Vancouver. The firm is recognized for its technical excellence, collaborative culture, and involvement in projects that support sustainable mining, hydropower, and infrastructure development contributing to the global energy transition.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing detailed civil and structural designs and drawings across a range of engineering projects. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, high-quality design outputs that support critical infrastructure initiatives in Canada and abroad. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare civil and structural design layouts and drawings.
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Revit.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from engineers and project stakeholders.
• Support modeling work for earthworks, dams, pipelines, road alignments, and building excavations.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in civil or structural drafting and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Civil3D, and Revit.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $65,000 – $85,000 CAD, based on experience and skill level.
